Bei Volmary sind Tradition, Innovation, Nachhaltigkeit und zukunftsorientiertes Handeln eng miteinander verflochten. Jeder unserer Standorte ist auf einen bestimmten Produktionsbereich spezialisiert, um möglichst effizient und qualitativ hochwertig für unsere Kunden zu produzieren. Nicht nur die Abläufe an jedem Standort sind aufeinander abgestimmt, sondern auch die standortübergreifenden Prozesse greifen präzise ineinander und ermöglichen uns daher reibungslose Produktionsketten.


Location Kaldenhof

Kaldenhof® in Münster, Westphalia, is not only home to the company's headquarters, but also to our plant breeding centre. Since 1925, new and improved varieties have been bred at Volmary, now in its third generation - this is where tradition meets innovation. Thanks to extensive tests and trials on our trial fields, we can guarantee the usual high Volmary quality for our entire range. This is how the Volmary plant breeders at Kaldenhof® manage to further improve tried and tested varieties and breed new high-quality varieties. So that our customers can also see the quality of our range for themselves, we invite them to various plant shows every year and open the gates of the Kaldenhof. Here, our guests can get their own impression of our varieties and the entire Volmary range directly on site in the show fields or in the greenhouses. The elite plants for mother plant production are also supplied from Kaldenhof® to our locations in Kenya and Turkey.

Location Senden

Our logistics centre is located in Senden, in the heart of Münsterland. All the plants we produce are dispatched from here every year and, thanks to our strong logistics, delivered to our customers safely and with vitality. But it's not just shipping that takes place here - seeds are germinated in the climate chambers and cuttings are rooted in the greenhouses. Young plants are then hardened off in the convertible greenhouse and in the shade room and prepared for dispatch. We also produce young plants from the complete range of bedding and balcony plants, potted plants, perennials and young vegetable plants. Thanks to the latest technology and a sustainable energy and supply concept, we fulfil our environmental protection requirements to a particularly high degree.

Location Beerlage

Volmary young plants and especially perennials are produced at our site in Beerlage. In addition to the production of lavender, a large proportion of the perennials we produce are grown here. However, some of our bedding and balcony plants propagated by cuttings are also produced here. Our high-quality verbenas, fuchsias and pelargoniums in particular can take root here and develop into high-quality young plants.

Location Selm

Only organic young plants from the herb and vegetable range are produced at our site in Selm. Our young plants undergo a strictly defined production process in the greenhouses. By using beneficial organisms and Multikraft® products, the plants are strengthened naturally from the outset. This enables us to ensure the production of high-quality organic young plants in Volmary quality. This high quality has also been confirmed by our organic certificate.
